| Well, here I am. I'm back. For what has transpired the past few weeks with the Viable VRS, I feel compelled to make a statement. I always make whatever statement through my Facebook, but not many people are part of my friendship network, so back to writing this blog. Even more, Facebook is limited considering how much character I can use to write. Anyway...
I'm sadden it has happened to Viable business organization. Yes, I made a statement in the past questioning their hiring practice to which couple of my friends debunked for me. My bad here! But, I have always support and hope that they will become a prosperous VRS business.
What I really see the goodness of the VRS competitive business environment is Viable, because they are one of few deaf-owned business. I don't know much about them. I am not connected to anyone or have been in touch with the Viable employees for quite a while. But, again, it is deaf. They are motivated for us. Compare that to Sorenson which doesn't know crap about deaf community until they saw that we have enough tree with money dropping like the fall season.
The ongoing FBI investigation is sad. I can't say much about that whether it is a witch hunt or how it is giving a hindrance to deaf owned business from growing.
The FBI is doing what is necessary to ensure that no one can fool the FCC for the financial gain.
I will choose to refrain from making any further observation from afar. Knowing deaf community, people always judge before all of the evidence can be presented. I don't think it is fair. For the FBI, being that they are thorough and it is going to be hard to overcome if there is any damaging evidence, let's just wait and rely on that. What if it is not what it seems or what if it happens to you, would you rather be judged fairly?

| For now, I'm not going to continue writing blogs. I think this is the end of road. I'm seeing the light in the end of tunnel.
The reason is I'm not that motiviated as I was in the past. Also, it takes some time off from what I want to do like developing a movie project. I need a lot of mental energy and great deal of concentration to get myself going. Since I tell people I'm not going to school because of a movie, it is the same for writing blogs.

|  In West Virginia, a state senator is proposing a bill that would ban the sales of Barbie doll. He said it is promoting shallowness. I say, from the look of his face in the picture, it does not take a shallow girl giving him a shoulder, because after all, he is ugly. He looks like a guy who couldn't get a date while he was in high school.
It is a stupid bill and a waste of tax-payers' time and money. | | |
| I'm currently on a "almost" two weeks vacation from my job. I'm working for the Miami Int'l Film Festival. It isn't bad. I'm enjoying my time. Best of all, I went to the red carpet event and went to the party. I got to dress to kill (talk about attention and attention). Interesting thing for me to note is there is more networking from the Film Festival in span of one week than the four years I have had in a corporate environment. And, more hugs from my collegues (a day could exceed the four years I had garnered). | | |
